Got up in time for breakfast. Took hotel shuttle to Dulles airport to pick up car at "Dollar". We thought we were getting a Ford Focus, but got a Dodge instead. Who's to complain?? We also have a Satnav which means I don't have to read a map when I am not driving.
Yvonne did very well driving out of Washington towards Richmond, where we are staying for two nights. On the way we stopped off at Fredericksberg for lunch and had a great salad. Very pretty town, but didn't stay too long as wanted to get on the road to Richmond. Traffic was pretty good except for the large pantechneons (?). They like to intimidate, and do a damn good job.
